{"id":35212,"date":"2012-03-31T15:00:58","date_gmt":"2012-03-31T13:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=35212"},"modified":"2012-04-02T09:47:09","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T07:47:09","slug":"mortal-kombat-for-ps-vita-gets-may-4-release-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/35212-mortal-kombat-for-ps-vita-gets-may-4-release-date","title":{"rendered":"Mortal Kombat for PS Vita gets May 4 release date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The number one reason for owning a PS Vita will be released for sale on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of May, in the form of Mortal Kombat.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the same reboot released on consoles last year, but it will include a few new features to sweeten the deal.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these include touchscreen-enabled fatalities, which seems like it\u2019ll be giving a lot of conservative politicians plenty of ammo in the war against violent video games;\u00a0 imagine Jack Thompson\u2019s face when he sees you literally pluck someone\u2019s head off their shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from those gory festivities, you\u2019ll also get an \u201call-new\u201d Challenge Tower mode, offering a rather impressive 150 Vita-exclusive missions.<\/p>\n<p>You won\u2019t be able to do any cross-over play with the Playstation 3 version, but Warner Bros.
