Just because Fable: The Journey is a Kinect game doesn’t mean it’s a casual game for people who want to chuck themselves all over the lounge like all those other Kinect games. That’s what Lionhead wants you to believe, anyway.<\/p>\n
In an announcement accompanying the game’s box-art reveal, Lionhead’s blogger writes that “Maybe this isn\u2019t the biggest news for all our fans out there, but it is a big moment for the development team. The box art signifies that we are working on a game now that will appear in shops all over the world and this is how you are going to spot Fable: The Journey in local retailers. Needless to say we are very proud of it!\u00a0 If you own a Kinect \u2013 or are planning on buying one in the near future \u2013 and you are a serious gamer who doesn\u2019t want to jump around their living room, then this is the game to look out for.”<\/p>\n
Fable: The Journey’s first public demo onstage at E3 last year, later described by Peter Molyneux as a “horrendous mistake”, gave the erroneous impression that the game was on rails. Since then, we’ve not seen much more of it.<\/p>\n
