As part of Valve’s build up to their scout-centric update scheduled for release on Tuesday, the company has been releasing daily tidbits detailing exactly what gamers can expect.<\/p>\n

Last week we discussed<\/a> the first of the announced updates, the “Sandyman” update, which will give the scout a new weapon; a baseball bat and ball, which will allow players to hit balls at their opponents, effectively stunning them.<\/p>\n

The latest update will come in the form of a new map, “CP_Egypt”. CP_Egypt is a  community map, designed by Sean ‘Heyo’ Cultino, and has been described as a “visually-striking, Dustbowl-style control point map.”<\/p>\n

Valve also published a full list of achievements that will be coming with Tuesday’s update.<\/p>\n

1.    A Year to Remember<\/strong> Get 2004 lifetime kills.<\/p>\n

2.    Artful Dodger <\/strong>Dodge 1000 damage in a single life using your Bonk! Atomic Punch.<\/p>\n

3.    Batter Up<\/strong> Perform 1000 double jumps.<\/p>\n

4.    Batting the Doctor <\/strong>Kill a Medic that is ready to deploy an UberCharge.<\/p>\n

5.    Beanball <\/strong>Stun a scout with their own ball.<\/p>\n

6.    Belittled Beleauger<\/strong> Kill an opposing player that has your intelligence while holding theirs.<\/p>\n

7.    Block the Plate <\/strong>Block 50 point captures.<\/p>\n

8.    Brushback <\/strong>Stun 50 enemies while they are capturing a point or pushing the cart.<\/p>\n

9.    Caught Napping <\/strong>Kill 50 enemies from behind with the Force-A-Nature.<\/p>\n

10.    Closer <\/strong>Destroy 3 teleporter entrances.<\/p>\n

11.    Doctoring the Ball <\/strong>Kill 3 enemies while under the effects of a Medic’s UberCharge.<\/p>\n

12.    Dodgers 1, Giants 0 <\/strong>Kill an enemy Heavy and take his Sandvich.<\/p>\n

13.    Fall Classic <\/strong>Cause an environmental death or suicide using the Force-A-Nature’s knockback.<\/p>\n

14.    First Blood <\/strong>Get the first kill in an Arena match.<\/p>\n

15.    First Blood, Part 2<\/strong> Kill 5 enemies with the First Blood crit buff.<\/p>\n

16.    Foul Territory <\/strong>Cause an environmental death by stunning an enemy.<\/p>\n

17.    Gun Down <\/strong>Destroy an active sentry gun using your pistol.<\/p>\n

18.    If You Build It <\/strong>Destroy 3 enemy buildings while they are still under construction.<\/p>\n

19.    I’m Bat Man <\/strong>Survive 500 damage in one life.<\/p>\n

20.    Moon Shot <\/strong>Stun an enemy for the maximum possible duration by hitting them with a long-range ball.<\/p>\n

21.    No Hitter <\/strong>Steal and then capture the enemy intelligence without firing a shot.<\/p>\n

22.    Out of the Park <\/strong>Bat an enemy 25 meters.<\/p>\n

23.    Pop Fly <\/strong>Kill 20 players while double-jumping.<\/p>\n

24.    Quick Hook <\/strong>Kill a player in Well before the round starts.<\/p>\n

25.    Race for the Pennant <\/strong>Run 25 kilometers.<\/p>\n

26.    Retire the Runner <\/strong>Kill a Scout while they are snared by the post-dodge slowdown effect.<\/p>\n

27.    Round Tripper <\/strong>Capture the enemy intelligence 25 times.<\/p>\n

28.    Set the Table <\/strong>Initiate 10 point captures that ultimately succeed.<\/p>\n

29.    Side Retired <\/strong>Capture the last point in a CP map.<\/p>\n

30.    Stealing Home <\/strong>Start capping a capture point within a second of it becoming available.<\/p>\n

31.    Strike Zone <\/strong>Kill 50 enemies while they are stunned.<\/p>\n

32.    The Big Hurt <\/strong>Stun 25 UberCharged enemies.<\/p>\n

33.    The Cycle <\/strong>In a single life, kill an enemy while you are on the ground, in the air, and in the water.<\/p>\n

34.    Triple Play <\/strong>Capture three capture points in a row in one life.<\/p>\n

35.    Triple Steal <\/strong>Capture the enemy intelligence 3 times in a single CTF round.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
