{"id":35835,"date":"2012-04-11T16:59:49","date_gmt":"2012-04-11T14:59:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=35835"},"modified":"2012-04-11T17:02:16","modified_gmt":"2012-04-11T15:02:16","slug":"quake-4-relaunching-on-pc-xbox-in-june","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/35835-quake-4-relaunching-on-pc-xbox-in-june","title":{"rendered":"Quake 4 relaunching on PC, Xbox in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you somehow missed Quake 4 when it originally released in 2005, you&#8217;re getting your one chance to make up for that when Bethesda <em>re<\/em>-releases the game for PC and Xbox on 19 June.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If you didn&#8217;t pick up an Xbox 360 at launch, it&#8217;s possible you might have missed out on one of the system&#8217;s best launch titles, Quake 4,&#8221; Bethesda said. &#8220;With it becoming harder and harder to find a new copy of the game, we&#8217;re happy to announce we&#8217;re re-releasing it at a low price of $19.99.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Or<\/em> you could buy it right now on <a href=\"http:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2210\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steam<\/a> for the same price. Did Bethesda&#8217;s people just not know about that or what? Maybe the relaunch version has extra stuff or something, although you&#8217;d think they would say so. At the very least, let&#8217;s hope they&#8217;ve fixed up the Xbox version&#8217;s frame-rate problems, which picked up a GameSpot award for Most Aggravating Frame Rate\/Best Slideshow back in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Watch this space.
