Little Big Planet has been praised as one of 2008’s best creative achievements in gaming. The stand out feature of the game is it’s extremely strong level creation tool. Since its launch, thousands of user created levels have been shared online<\/p>\n
A few weeks ago, seven NeoGAF forum users set out to recreate one of gaming’s cornerstone classic titles- Contra, using the Little Big Planet level creator. The team recreated the entire game, from start to finish, meticulously studying the original levels and re-rendering them.<\/p>\n
The levels are now available to all Little Big Planet owners that are connected to the Playstation Network. There are eight individual stages, just like in the original Contra, and they must be downloaded separately.<\/p>\n
