{"id":36178,"date":"2012-04-18T00:14:19","date_gmt":"2012-04-17T22:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=36178"},"modified":"2012-04-18T14:09:33","modified_gmt":"2012-04-18T12:09:33","slug":"dishonored-gets-debut-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/36178-dishonored-gets-debut-trailer","title":{"rendered":"Dishonored gets debut trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bethesda have released the debut trailer for Dishonored, their upcoming stealth\/action <a title=\"FPS - First Person Shooter\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/23882-FPS-First-Person-Shooter\">FPS<\/a> which is being developed by <a title=\"Arkane Studios\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/24183-Arkane-Studios\">Arkane Studios<\/a> and is under the design lead of Harvey Smith, whose previous work includes the Deus Ex and Thief series.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer itself reveals a substantial amount regarding the undercover title, as we&#8217;re shown the game&#8217;s protagonist, setting, enemies and gadgets which are expected to feature in the game.<\/p>\n<p>The CGI video shows a captive man given a &#8220;gift&#8221; by a faceless character. The once-imprisoned man, which we can assume is the game&#8217;s protagonist, is then scaling rooftops in a style that would make Assassin&#8217;s Creed&#8217;s Ezio jealous, as he is pursuing a target for assassination.<\/p>\n<p>The futuristic steampunk setting is juxtaposed with what looks like Victorian architecture lays the scene for some great action that then ensues.<\/p>\n<p>Without giving away too much, check out the trailer for yourself:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E1HlYTukh9A\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"335\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Bethesda recently sent out a <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/36112-bethesda-tease-something-on-twitter.html\">picture<\/a> via <a title=\"Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19976-Twitter\">Twitter<\/a> hinting at a new announcement, which was speculated to be Skyrim DLC.
