{"id":36226,"date":"2012-04-18T13:17:22","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T11:17:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=36226"},"modified":"2012-04-18T14:29:39","modified_gmt":"2012-04-18T12:29:39","slug":"star-trek-trailer-beams-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/entertainment\/36226-star-trek-trailer-beams-in","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek trailer beams in"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Namco Bandai\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19944-Namco-Bandai\">Namco Bandai<\/a> has released a new trailer for Star Trek &#8211; the game that will tie into the movie sequel next year.<\/p>\n<p>The third-person shooter is set to launch on <a title=\"Playstation 3 (PS3)\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19888-Playstation-3-(PS3)\">PS3<\/a> and <a title=\"Xbox 360\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/19882-Xbox-360\">360<\/a> in the first quarter of 2013, prior to the May release of the next Star Trek movie from director and producer, J.J. Abrams.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The game is based on a stand-alone storyline that continues the adventure of iconic characters, Kirk and Spock as they work together to stop an enemy race bent on conquering the galaxy,&#8221; explained Namco.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows some gameplay strikingly similar to that of Mass Effect, and shows a glimpse of Kirk and Spock fighting together.
