Well that&#8217;s too bad."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you thought the release of Windows 8 &#8211; with its built-in support for <a title=\"XBLA - Xbox Live Arcade\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/24147-XBLA-Xbox-Live-Arcade\">Xbox LIVE<\/a> &#8211; would see <a title=\"Microsoft\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/211580-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a> binning the Games for Windows Live service forever, better think again.<\/p>\n<p>Asked by NeoGamr if they&#8217;d be discontinuing the GFWL label with the launch of <a title=\"Windows 8\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/23889-Windows\">Windows 8<\/a>, Microsoft said, simply, that &#8220;answer is no.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If it&#8217;s any consolation, though, they&#8217;re also &#8220;making new investments in Metro style games&#8221;, including &#8220;core PC gamer&#8221; stuff like Age of Empires Online and Microsoft Flight.
