{"id":36293,"date":"2012-04-18T16:11:02","date_gmt":"2012-04-18T14:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=36293"},"modified":"2012-04-18T17:15:18","modified_gmt":"2012-04-18T15:15:18","slug":"darksiders-2-delayed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/36293-darksiders-2-delayed","title":{"rendered":"Darksiders 2 delayed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following speculation earlier this week, THQ has confirmed that Darksiders 2 has been delayed to August 2012 and that my whole day is totally <em>ruined<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The delay is apparently &#8220;to ensure we meet the high quality threshold that we are committed to achieving&#8221; and to give the dev team over at Vigil more time for &#8220;polish and bug fixing&#8221;, which is code for &#8220;the game wasn&#8217;t finished in time, lol&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just a short delay,\u201d said THQ in a press statement. \u201cBut we promise the game you\u2019ll have in August will be well worth the wait!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is great news for the team at Vigil, because it allows additional time for polish and to ensure that all aspects of Darksiders II meet the high-quality bar the team is targeting. In game development, more time is always a good thing for quality and the Vigil team is dedicated to providing the definitive Darksiders experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, I&#8217;ll just be
