Amanita’s<\/a> puzzler-adventure Botanicula launched last week on GOG<\/a> for $8.99. It also launched the same day as the featured game in a new Humble Bundle for whatever people wanted to pay for it, so the people who preordered the game on GOG were pretty miffed about that.<\/p>\n

Now GOG has announced they’re adding some bonus goodies to all preorders to make up for it, so everything is okay again.<\/p>\n

Anybody who ordered Botanicula before 1 PM local time on 20 April is now also the proud owner of a shiny copy of Machinarium, and will be sent links to download the Botanicula soundtrack and a “special artbook of Botanicula designs and character sketches”.<\/p>\n

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All those people also get a free copy of the The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut. Score! That’s the first one, not the sequel, mind you. But still, pretty cool.<\/p>\n

“At GOG.com, we\u2019ll never knowingly disappoint you, and while this preorder mishap may have made you a little unhappy, we hope that you enjoy Botanicula,” read the official notice over on GOG. Aww.<\/p>\n
