An update for PS3<\/a> exclusive Twisted Metal was released last week, bringing the game up to version 1.05 and adding a bunch of stuff, including a character previously only available as preorder DLC<\/a> and a new skin for another character.<\/p>\n

And<\/em> it totally broke the game.<\/p>\n

According to complaints all over the internet, players outside of America have been unable to log into the game’s multiplayer servers since the update.<\/p>\n

Twisted Metal boss David Jaffe<\/a> has acknowledged the problem, saying on Twitter<\/a> that “I am hearing this and sorry about it. I will know what is up on Monday. No clue why SCEE<\/a> territories are locked out :(. I’m sorry.”<\/p>\n

The problem has not yet been resolved, and there has been no official word from Sony<\/a> on the matter either.<\/p>\n

“I will contact with sony eu tomorrow, I will ask for refund, based on the fact that the game doesn’t have multiplayer,” threatened PlayStation forum member, jorymiler, who probably won’t.<\/p>\n
