Popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has confirmed in its most recent issue that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has been confirmed for release on the PS3.<\/p>\n

A translation of the article appearing on N4G<\/a> reveals a number of interesting tidbits about the PS3 bound version of the previous Xbox 360 exclusive.<\/p>\n

According to the N4G translation of the article:<\/p>\n

– It will be an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden 2, as opposed to a direct port<\/p>\n

– It set for release around September<\/p>\n

– New Weapon: Spiked Hammer “Genma”<\/p>\n

– New giant boss battles not available in Xbox 3360 version<\/p>\n

– New playable character – female ninja Ayane<\/p>\n
