There’s a Leisure Suit Larry Kickstarter<\/a> campaign? There’s a Leisure Suit Larry Kickstarter campaign. And it’s headed up by none other than original Leisure Suit Larry creator Al Lowe, so you know it means business.<\/p>\n

The project is, of course, Leisure Suit Larry HD, which is basically a remake of the original Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards released back in 1987. I was technically (way) too young to play it at the time, but that’s what the Alt+X cheat was for. It didn’t make the game any better, but maybe the remake will.<\/p>\n

The campaign has just made its target of $500,000 with a couple of days left on the clock, which means it’ll definitely be dropping onto PC, Mac<\/a>, Linux<\/a>, and possibly also iOS devices, XBLA<\/a>, and PSN<\/a> (depending on how much more cash they can get before time runs out) at some future date.<\/p>\n

Now let’s see a Quest for Glory Kickstarter. I’d give money to that<\/em>.<\/p>\n
