{"id":3688,"date":"2009-03-20T15:31:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-20T13:31:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"latest-call-of-duty-world-at-war-dlc-banned-in-sa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/3688-latest-call-of-duty-world-at-war-dlc-banned-in-sa","title":{"rendered":"Latest Call of Duty: World at War DLC banned in SA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have learned while reading the ever informative <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xboxgaming.co.za\/news\/cod-waw-map-pack-1-dlc-blocked-in-south-africa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Xboxgaming.co.za<\/a> that the recently released Call of Duty: World at War DLC pack is not available to South African Xbox Live users.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is not a new one, and the fact that SA is not an officially recognized Xbox Live country has been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygaming.co.za\/news\/XBox\/3528-The-Xbox-Live-dilemma.html\" target=\"_blank\">covered before<\/a>. This effectively means that anything that gets banned in countries such as Germany and Japan (in this case) gets immediately banned in SA.<\/p>\n<p>This unfortunately means that SA Xbox 360 owners will not get access to the new maps and DLC for Call of Duty: World at War.
