Rumours and speculation surrounding an online component of Elder Scrolls have been floating around for quite some time and now official details of the MMO RPG have finally been unveiled.<\/p>\n
Featuring on the cover of GameInformer’s June issue, The Elder Scrolls Online is set to take the massively online multiplayer game world by storm.<\/p>\n
Developed by the team at Zenimax Online Studios<\/a>, the Elder Scrolls Online is set to bring everything expected of the large, intricate and ambitious series, and combine it with the scale and social aspects of a MMO.<\/p>\n Players will get to explore and uncover a brand new chapter in the Elder Scrolls saga, as the events of the online game will take place a millennium before Skyrim, as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm.<\/p>\n The game will feature well-crafted solo quests and public dungeons, along with player-driven PvP conflicts that throw three player factions against one another in open-world warfare throughout the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor’s throne.<\/p>\n “It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years,” said game director and MMO veteran Matt Firor<\/a>, whose previous work includes Mythic’s well-received Dark Age of Camelot. “The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made \u2013 and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”<\/p>\n Bethesda to announce Elder Scrolls MMO soon<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nSource: GameInformer<\/a><\/h5>\n
