Take-Two have announced that their upcoming big-hitter, Bioshock: Infinite<\/a>, will slot into a later stage on the release schedule.<\/p>\n

The game will now release on February 26, 2013, in order to give the development process more focus.<\/p>\n

Ken Levine said: “To give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”<\/p>\n

The game was originally slated for a 19 October 2012 release date, although the third Bioshock instalment<\/a> now slips into the 2013 calendar.<\/p>\n

BioShock Infinite puts players in the role of Booker DeWitt, a hard-bitten former Pinkerton agent, together with the revolutionary AI companion, Elizabeth. The two struggle to escape the sky-city of Columbia, in a 1912 America that might have been. Armed with an arsenal of new weapons and abilities, they face menacing enemies<\/a>, in unique expansive environments.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
