It seems that LinkedIn is becoming a top source for game info leaks, stealing the crown of leakage from online retailers.<\/p>\n
The latest bits of information come in the form of two unannounced EA<\/a> games – Battlefield: Bad Company 3 and Mirror’s Edge 2.<\/p>\n Michael Joseph C<\/a>, a programmer and LinkedIn user, stated to have \u201cprovided video game prototype, design and demo feedback on various AAA titles including the Battlefield: Bad Company 3, Dead Space 2, Devil May Cry 5 and other unannounced titles\u201d.<\/p>\n Another possible hint came from an ex-EA software engineer<\/a>, who claimed to have worked on “the wandering of crowd system within Unreal3 engine” on Mirror’s Edge 2 in 2009; while another former employee<\/a> said that he implemented \u201cnew gadgets and interactive features\u201d,\u201cleaderboards\u201d and a \u201cmini-game” for the yet-to-be-announced free-running sequel.<\/p>\n The culminated information suggests that both games could currently be in development at EA DICE<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last year, EA Games President Frank Gibeau<\/a> said that the publisher hadn’t killed off the franchise and are \u201cactively looking at how to bring it back in the right way.\u201d<\/p>\n He also mentioned that if the game did hit the production process, it would run on DICE\u2019s Frostbite 2 engine, which powered Battlefield 3.<\/p>\n If the two games are in fact in development, E3<\/a> 2012 would be good time to announce something and set the rumours straight.<\/p>\n Mirror\u2019s Edge 2 development underway<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Rumour control: Mirror\u2019s Edge 2 cancelled?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nSource: Gamerzines<\/a><\/h5>\n
