Sony<\/a> have assisted in the preparation process for a future-releases by adding a new feature which will allow PSN<\/a> users to pre-load soon-to-be-released games.<\/p>\n

The new feature adds the option to use a pre-load function to download games early, with PSN unlocking the game on the launch day.<\/p>\n

The function will mean that players don’t have to wait for PSN games to download when they’re released, and can rather get ready for a gaming session prior to the game dropping on Sony’s Playstation Network, by adding all the files to their hard-drive in advance.<\/p>\n

The first game to utilise the function will be Sorcery<\/a>, Sony’s new fantasy action game which is built around Move support.<\/p>\n

The service is similar to that of PC’s Steam<\/a> function, which allows PC<\/a> gamers to pre-load games before they are released.<\/p>\n
