{"id":3817,"date":"2009-04-24T13:44:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-24T11:44:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"nvidia-calls-intel-i7-a-waste-of-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/hardware\/3817-nvidia-calls-intel-i7-a-waste-of-money","title":{"rendered":"Nvidia calls Intel i7 a waste of money"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fudzilla.com\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=13351&amp;Itemid=1\" target=\"_blank\"> Fudzilla<\/a>, Nvidia&rsquo;s marketing Tom Patersen has spoken out against Intel marketing their i7 in a misleading manner.<\/p>\n<p>According to Intel&rsquo; marketing department, a Core I7 920 CPU offers an 80 percent increase in gaming performance, which completely untrue, unless they mean over an original Pentium.<\/p>\n<p>Petersen claims that this marketing pitch from Intel makes no sense and is in fact a &ldquo;little disingenuous&rdquo;.
