Got problems with Diablo III<\/a>? Only you and everybody else. But while the controversial always-on DRM<\/a> probably isn’t going away, ever (sorry), Blizzard<\/a> is apparently hard at work fixing everything else. So that’s nice.<\/p>\n

“With Diablo III out for nearly two weeks now, millions of players around the world are storming Sanctuary and joining the battle against the Burning Hells. At the same time, we continue to work around the clock to make sure you have an epic online gaming experience,” reads an update over on the Diablo III blog.<\/p>\n

“When it comes to making game changes, in general, our intent is to react quickly to critical design and balance issues, bugs, and other problems that seriously conflict with our design intent through hotfixes. For issues which aren\u2019t as severely out of line, we plan to react in a more measured fashion – through client patches.”<\/p>\n

There’s already an update scheduled to drop next week and “address service issues”, presumably including connectivity and latency problems, as well as another update to feature balance and gameplay changes, featuring difficulty consistency adjustments in Inferno and some significant reductions to crafting costs for both the blacksmith and jeweller.<\/p>\n

More importantly, though, when are they going to mute Covetous Shen?<\/p>\n
