<\/strong>Steve Jobs\u2019 handwritten memo to the Atari game company in 1974 is set to be auctioned off.<\/p>\n

The written note describes changes that Job suggested to Atari with regards to their World Cup Soccer arcade game which was being developed at the time.<\/p>\n

Jobs worked at Atari for a brief period prior to co-founding Apple with Steve Wozniak, who also helped develop hardware to run a single-player version of Pong.<\/p>\n

The memo is set to fetch up to $15,000 (R124,932*) through the Sotherby\u2019s auction.<\/p>\n

Sotheby’s is also auctioning a working Apple I motherboard, complete with cassette interface, operating manuals, and a BASIC Users Manual. Fewer than 50 Apple I computers are thought to have survived, with only six known to be in working condition, Sotheby’s said. The lot is expected to fetch $120,000 to $150,000 (R1 million – R1,25 million*)<\/p>\n

The auction is scheduled for June 15.<\/p>\n
