The MyGaming survey revealed some interesting statistics about the demographics and habits of the high-end SA gaming market.<\/p>\n

With a sample of 1045, we deduced SA gamers\u2019 broadband connection of choice<\/a>, their most popular ADSL ISP<\/a>, and how much SA\u2019s gamers earn and spend on gaming<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Previously we took a look at SA gamers\u2019 platforms of choice<\/a> and PC emerged as dominant, with 79.89% of the sample indicating the gamed using a PC.<\/p>\n

Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 were in second and third respectively, with 33.49% and 31.69% of the sample owning those consoles.<\/p>\n

Now we have taken a look at which gaming genres are popular among the sample.<\/p>\n

We asked survey participants which types of games (genres) they like to play. The results are outlined below.<\/p>\n

The percentage is of the total sample of 1045, and it exceeds 100% because this was a multiple choice question.<\/p>\n
