{"id":38883,"date":"2012-06-02T08:40:15","date_gmt":"2012-06-02T06:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=38883"},"modified":"2012-06-04T14:27:58","modified_gmt":"2012-06-04T12:27:58","slug":"bowlings-robotoki-reveals-human-element","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/38883-bowlings-robotoki-reveals-human-element","title":{"rendered":"Bowling&#8217;s Robotoki reveals Human Element"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not long ago, Call of Duty community manager Robert Bowling left <a title=\"Activision\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/11841-Activision-Blizzard\">Activision<\/a> for a new company, Robotoki, as Bowling wanted a hand in creating games rather than promoting them.<\/p>\n<p>Now Robotoki has unveiled their new title, Human Element, a zombie survival game destined for next-gen consoles and tablet PCs. While you may already be yawning at \u201czombie survival\u201d, Bowling\u2019s game promises a new twist on what\u2019s fast becoming a stale concept.<\/p>\n<p>This new game is going to utilize the idea of fear, and more specifically the ways in which it causes people to behave in desperate times. The game will provide players an option of three different character classes and identities. Players can choose a path of Action, Intelligence or Stealth, as well as if they wish to have a partner, protect a small child or be a lone gun. Other than these small details, nothing has been spoiled of what actual gameplay will be like.<\/p>\n<p>Bowling said, &#8220;Their greatest strength is the fear that [zombies] instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The game will launch sometime in 2015, and Robotoki will be officially unveiling the title at <a title=\"E3 - Electronic Entertainment Expo\" href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/21509-E3-Electronic-Entertainment-Expo\">E3<\/a>, where they will hopefully provide a few more details.
