E3<\/a> has provided us with a lot of gorgeous visuals. With Tomb Raider<\/a>, Star Wars 1313<\/a> (which is said to be running on Unreal Engine 4<\/a>), and Ubisoft’s<\/a> surprise hit, Watch Dogs<\/a>, gamers have been treated to some of the most exciting and gorgeous visuals the medium has ever seen.<\/p>\n

Square Enix wanted to get in on the action and have shown off their new technology brought to you courtesy of the Luminous engine.<\/p>\n

The demonstration is said to be in full real-time, and was emphasised by the publisher’s chief technology officer, Yoshihisa Hashimoto, as they manipulated certain elements of the video to prove their claims.<\/p>\n
