What do you want most in a new racing game? Everything you liked about previous racing games, but better<\/em>, obviously. And Need for Speed: Most Wanted developer Criterion knows what you want most. It’s not just a clever name, you see.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s everything we know about open-world driving, just piling it together,\u201d Criterion’s Matt Webster told Videogamer at E3. \u201cAll the best shit about Burnout and everything we did in Hot Pursuit, we\u2019re just smashing them together.”<\/p>\n

“[Most Wanted] is what we think an open-world game should be. Hot Pursuit was about beautiful cars and epic drives, and so it didn\u2019t match what we wanted to do in that game. This time it totally does. Everything that we\u2019ve ever done comes to pass here.”<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a Criterion game so everything that we\u2019ve ever done comes to play. We always say that each game we do is a reflection of us at the time, but of course, you\u2019re going to be influenced by what we\u2019ve done in the past and all the stuff we had fun with.”<\/p>\n

So, basically, it’ll be cars and roads to drive them on.<\/p>\n

The game’s out in November for PS3, Xbox, and PC.<\/p>\n
