Mweb GameZone, in association with Apex Interactive and Clan Connection, have decided to determine who reigns supreme – PS3 or Xbox 360 players.<\/p>\n
The King of the Console Tournament will use Modern Warfare 3 as the benchmark, and will put players against one another in Free for All (FFA) matches to determine the top 16 spots for each console.<\/p>\n
The first round eliminations take place on the 17th of June.<\/p>\n
Once those 16 spots have been determined, competitors will then all meet up at the MWEB MCave on 22 June, where the battle will continue until the best 4 FFA players from each console emerge. The final 4 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will then represent their console and battle it out to determine which platform provides the most skilful players.<\/p>\n
Bragging rights are not the only prize on offer, as Mweb and Apex have put together some winner’s-spoils valued over R25,000, including gear from Gioteck.<\/p>\n
