One of the stand-out games revealed at E3<\/a> was Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs. The futuristic open-world action game stunned fans with gorgeous visuals and innovative ideas, and we now know who’s behind the publisher’s new IP.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft Montreal (known for the Assassin’s Creed franchise) and Ubisoft Reflections will be collaborating on the project, and will cooperatively build the impressive-looking title.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft Reflections are best known for their work on the Driver series, and have worked with Montreal before, particularly with the upcoming Far Cry 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reflections are expanding their Newcastle-based development team for the project, and are looking for Creative Directors, Senior Gameplay Programmers, and experienced GUI artists.<\/p>\n

The publisher’s GM, Giselle Stewart, said that Reflections are excited to work on Watch Dogs, and have been “attentively watching the reaction to Watch Dogs at E3.”<\/p>\n

Last week, the official Watch Dogs Twitter account, which is presumably operated by someone at Ubisoft, tweeted that the game \u201cwill be released in 2013 and will be on released on PC and consoles\u201d.<\/p>\n
