Most recently, a group of PC gamers<\/a> set out to spruce up the single-player-only open-world action game with multiplayer, and they succeeded.<\/p>\n The JC2-MP mod adds the capabilities for multiple players to unleash havoc, destruction and perform crazy stunts together. Flipping speedboats, tank battles, free-fall competitions, dogfights and just about anything else you can think of doing with friends in Just Cause 2 is now a possibility.<\/p>\n Magnus Johansson, the lead designer of Just Cause 2 at Avalanche Studios, even picked up on the mod and showed his praise through Twitter, saying: “It’s crazy to see what you have done with our game. Loved that buses and jets clip!”<\/p>\n The mod will undoubtedly spark some more interest into Just Cause 2 for players who maybe neglected the over-the-top action game, and can monitor the development of the mod on the Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod page<\/a>.<\/p>\n Square Enix also recently registered a bunch of Just Cause related domains<\/a>, hinting that a new entry into the series is on the cards.<\/p>\n The modding group put together a video showcasing the insanity that ensues when a bunch of friends hit the island of Panau together.<\/p>\n
