THQ<\/a> is hyping up Darksiders II<\/a> as one of their biggest titles of the year; and we’re okay with that, because it’s looking pretty enticing with its blend of open-world action-adventure, hack n’ slash gameplay, cinematic set-pieces, and mature, colourful, visceral art direction.<\/p>\n

The story of Darksiders II runs parallel to that of the original game, and while War is rampaging across an apocalypse-torn Earth, his counter-part Death will be working behind the scenes to uncover more of the hellishly insidious demonic plot to overthrow the heavens with Earth as the battleground.<\/p>\n

In the latest CGI trailer tease, we see a little bit less than we have in previous videos (such as Death’s impressive assault on a gargantuan foe<\/a>); the reason for this becomes apparent as we are encouraged to head on over to the Darksiders Facebook page<\/a> and hit the ‘Like’ button to unlock the full-length trailer. Hopefully we’ll get to see Death dual-wielding his scythes and cutting through the demonic ranks.<\/p>\n
