The Xbox LIVE<\/a> Rewards program has been around for a while already, but most people have probably never heard of it.<\/p>\n

The big idea is that you sign up, and occasionally get some free Microsoft<\/a> Points for doing something special, like renewing your Xbox LIVE Gold subscription. It’s kind of like a Pick N Pay Smart Shopper card, except you don’t get anything back for buying loads of whiskey and instant noodles.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the whole thing is about to get a lot more real with a Tweet out of the official Xbox LIVE Rewards Twitter stream promising “a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements”.<\/p>\n

Conveniently enough, no other information was supplied, so until it is, we’ll just have to make guesses. I bet I’ll get something for finishing Ninja Blade. Or, perhaps more properly, I’d better get something for finishing Ninja Blade because right now, I’m out ten years of my life that I’ll never get back<\/em>.<\/p>\n
