{"id":40023,"date":"2012-06-21T10:36:02","date_gmt":"2012-06-21T08:36:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=40023"},"modified":"2012-06-21T10:47:15","modified_gmt":"2012-06-21T08:47:15","slug":"polarfluke-hosting-2012-mssa-online-schools-starcraft-ii-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/40023-polarfluke-hosting-2012-mssa-online-schools-starcraft-ii-championship","title":{"rendered":"PolarfluKe hosting 2012 MSSA Online Schools Starcraft II Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) has announced that their partnership with StarCraft II tournament organisers PolarfluKe will be extended to hosting the 2012 MSSA Online Schools Starcraft II Championship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tournament Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Swiss Rounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility to enter<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only learners who are registered at any high school may enter. Registration forms must still be completed and submitted, but any learner that enters does not need to be a Registered Player.<\/li>\n<li>Participants of a minor age must get a guardian to submit a letter of consent via email along with their entry for the tournament.<\/li>\n<li>Participants must own a legal version of Starcraft 2.<\/li>\n<li>Participants must be South African citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration for the championship must be done on the <a title=\"PolarfluKe\" href=\"http:\/\/polarfluke.co.za\/index.php\/top-menu-news\/starcraft-2-news\/359-2012-mssa-online-schools-starcraft-ii-championship\" target=\"_blank\">PolarfluKe website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Registrations shall close on 30 June 2012 at 13H30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>When and Where<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30 June 2012 &#8211; Day 1 of Swiss Rounds.<\/li>\n<li>1 July 2012 &#8211; Day 2 of Swiss Rounds.<\/li>\n<li>The tournament will run via the European Battle.net server.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accolades<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The championship is accredited as being of the same status as a provincial championship.
