Sony have confirmed that the expansion packs for WipEout HD and WipEout HD Fury are available for the PS Vita’s WipEout 2048.<\/p>\n
If you’ve already bought the packs for PS3, you will have access to the packs for PS Vita completely free.<\/p>\n
This is part of Sony’s Cross-Buy feature, which allows Playstation gamers to share game content across their PS3 and PS Vita, by only paying once.<\/p>\n
And visa-versa, it also works the other way, as players who buy the content for PS Vita will also get the PS3 add-ons for free.<\/p>\n
In terms of the actual content, Wipeout HD is available for download in the form of Wipeout 2048 – Wipeout HD Game Pack for $7.99 (around R66*). The pack includes 12 new tracks (including eight reverse tracks) and 12 new ships to race with.<\/p>\n
If that’s not enough, Wipeout 2048 will also be getting the Wipeout HD Fury Pack, which will add another 12 tracks and 24 more ships, also priced at $7.99 (around R66*).<\/p>\n
And for those Wipeout enthusiasts who want to have it all in one go, you can buy the Wipeout 2048 Complete Game Pack for 12.99 ( around R107*). This includes Wipeout HD for PS3, plus the Wipeout Fury Expansion pack re-imagined for PS Vita, with all 24 tracks, 24 ships and four zone tracks.<\/p>\n
