Telkom announced a promotion today (29 June 2012) offering three months free uncapped ADSL connectivity to residential customers and small to medium businesses.<\/p>\n
From 1 July 2012, customers signing up for a 24 month uncapped ADSL package in the do Uncapped residential product range and the TBiz Uncapped business product range will receive three months free.<\/p>\n
New customers will also receive free ADSL and landline installation, and a free Wi-Fi router.<\/p>\n
Telkom previously offered a free 3 month trial on its “Faster” (1Mbps) ADSL products.<\/p>\n
\u201cTelkom\u2019s Do Uncapped offering removes restrictions on data volumes to satisfy the customer\u2019s growing appetite for media rich online content, thus enabling our residential customers to download and watch more movies, and music and so forth,\u201d said Manelisa Mavuso, head of consumer services and retail at Telkom.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith this promotion we are continuing to create new products and services that enable multiple users in a household or business to run multiple bandwidth-hungry applications at the same time, at faster speeds and with greater stability provided by fixed line internet,\u201d Mavuso said.<\/p>\n
All of Telkom\u2019s uncapped packages are subject to certain daytime speed restrictions outlined in Telkom Internet\u2019s Acceptable Use Policy.<\/p>\n
