One of the best and most overlooked racing games this generation is definitely that of Racedriver: GRID.<\/p>\n

Back in 2008, the game developed by Dirt aficionados Codemasters, brought a solid mix of arcade and simulated professional street-racing, and while fans wanted a sequel, it never seemed to happen.<\/p>\n

Well, it now looks like the team have been listening to the community, finally.<\/p>\n

“The GRID team at Codemasters is actively working on GRID 2,” said OXM. “It’s likely to arrive after the release of F1 2012.”<\/p>\n

F1 2012 is set to release in September, which could slip a GRID sequel into a the end-of-year period.<\/p>\n

With Codemasters shifting their focus into being a racing game specialist studio, it’s not unlikely that a number of projects are on-track at once.<\/p>\n
