It’s been less than two weeks since Valve launched the Source Filmmaker (SFM) beta, and – no surprises, really – there’s already been a pretty huge response from the community. A chance to make your own movies with Team Fortress 2 game assets? Everybody<\/em> wants a go.<\/p>\n

In an update over on Steam, the SFM team has posted a bunch of fan-made films, with Meet the Heavy spoofs apparently being the big thing right now. I think my favourite one has to be “Meet the Modern Heavy”, because it rather brilliantly en…cap<\/em>…sulates everything that Team Fortress 2 is all about these days. I MAKE FUNNY, YOU LAUGH.<\/p>\n

In response to, well, the response, Valve has also decided to release more beta keys, so check your Steam account and see if you’ve made the – wait for it – director’s cut. I MAKE FUNNY AGAIN, YOU LAUGH. Man, I should just turn this stuff into a movie or something.<\/p>\n
