Gearbox big cheese Randy Pitchford would love to see a Playstation Vita version of Borderlands 2 \u2013 but he won\u2019t be the one to make it.<\/p>\n
Pitchford said Gearbox is just too busy to do it, but he\u2019s intrigued by the possibilities of cloud connectivity between the PS3 and Sony\u2019s flagship handheld.<\/p>\n
“One of the things I wish Sony would do is get behind Borderlands, because I’d love to see a Vita version of the game,” he said.<\/p>\n
“I want to be able to have the character I’m working on with my PS3, and then when I’m on the road with my Vita I can just keep developing that same character because it exists on the cloud somewhere.<\/p>\n
“Technologically, that’s possible.”<\/p>\n
Pitchford encouraged the crowd to send some encouragement Sony\u2019s way.<\/p>\n
“Perhaps some of you folks can convince Sony to start that,” he said. “We’re too busy to develop it ourselves. But I know there are a lot of talented developers who could take our code, our source and our content and perhaps create something like that.<\/p>\n
“That would be exciting to me.”<\/p>\n
