Talks of a big-screen God of War adaptation have been around for a while now, but after the project looked like it wasn’t going anywhere, Universal have announced a new writing duo for the film.<\/p>\n
Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan will rewrite the God of War script, which was originally done by David Self, who now fills the boots of executive producer.<\/p>\n
Melton and Dunstan are best known for their writing work on multiple instalments in the Saw horror franchise, as well as writing the screenplay for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming sci-fi film, Pacific Rim.<\/p>\n
Charles Roven and Alex Gartner are producing the movie through Atlas Entertainment.<\/p>\n
