Internet cat videos are like games – they keep us entertained for hours at a time and never cease to amaze. This obsession with internet cat videos has grown so dramatically in the last couple years that the off-beat hobby has now garnered its own film festival.<\/p>\n
The first-ever Internet Cat Video Film Festival will take place in Minneapolis, USA, on 30 August at the Walker Art Center, one of the leading contemporary art museums in the country \u2013 a fitting location for the event.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile enjoyed by a broad online audience of millions, cat videos are normally viewed alone,\u201d wrote festival organizer – and self-professed \u201ccat-lady-in-residence\u201d – Kate Czarniecki-Hill on the Walker Art Center blog.<\/p>\n

The entire Internet Cat Video Festival will only last about an hour. \u201cMost cat videos on YouTube are less than a minute so the festival should allow for plenty of feline fun,\u201d wrote the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n
