Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima was at San Diego Comic Con this week, and the legendary game designer was showing something behind-closed-doors. What that was exactly is unknown.<\/p>\n

But a few hours later a bunch of Metal Gear Solid 5 images began to creep out through Twitter.<\/p>\n

The pictures, showing a “Metal Gear Solid 5” title screen along with the tagline “Open Ground Reconnaissance Endevors”, were pretty low-res and the validity of them was sketchy, and Kojima has come out on his personal Twitter account to debunk the rumours.<\/p>\n

Kojima said that the logo “is completely fake” and added: “”I apologise to those who were looking forward to it.””<\/p>\n

Kojima has previously said that another Metal Gear Solid is in development, and the pictures actually resonated with many of the rumours and info circulating, although Kojima’s comments have put a damper on the whole thing.<\/p>\n
