Over the weekend of 21-22 July 2012, PolarfluKe hosted the MSSA Online StarCraft II Championship.<\/p>\n

The tournament was a provincial championship, therefore awarding colours, medals and qualification rights to future National team trials.<\/p>\n

MSSA’s South African team trials will be taking place in September 2012, and qualifiers will be shipped-off to compete at the International e-Sports Federation (IeSF) World Championship 2012 in South Korea.<\/p>\n

1st – Nathan \u201cStatiC\u201d Anderson (PolarfluKe)
\n2nd – Marius \u201cStripe\u201d van der Merwe (PolarfluKe)
\n3rd – Duncan \u201cSkiblet\u201d Frickel (PolarfluKe)<\/p>\n

Women<\/span><\/p>\n

1st – Gabriela \u201cGabybear\u201d Isaacs (Sahet)
\n2nd – Lisinda \u201cPrinses\u201d Gericke (Knights Mind Sports Club)<\/p>\n

School<\/span><\/p>\n

1st – Nathan \u201cStatiC\u201d Anderson (Home schooled)
\n2nd – Liam \u201cIntuition\u201d Finnie (Elkanah House High School)
\n3rd – Luke \u201cLntlulzalott\u201d Schwartzkopff (South African College School)<\/p>\n

Best female: Gabriela \u201cGabybear\u201d Isaacs (Saheti)<\/p>\n

Colours<\/span><\/p>\n

Provincial Colours and School Provincial Colours are awarded to Nathan \u201cStatiC\u201d Anderson for having won all his games in both the Provincial and School Provincial Championships.<\/p>\n

School Provincial Colours are awarded to Liam \u201cIntuition\u201d Finnie (Elkanah House High School) for having finished in the top half of gamers in both the Provincial and School Provincial Championships.<\/p>\n

Gamers who finished in the top three (of both the male and female sections) automatically qualify for the National Team Trials which are to be hosted on 1 September 2012. It is at the Team Trials that the IeSF 2012 South African team will be chosen<\/p>\n

MSSA will announce soon the full list of current 2012 National Team tTials qualifiers.<\/p>\n
