DICE and EA have released some new details about the mysterious upcoming DLC for Battlefield 3, Aftermath.<\/p>\n
According to the official site, Aftermath is set in Tehran, Iran, in the aftermath of an earthquake, which depicts “a continuing struggle for supremacy amongst the devastation”.<\/p>\n
The urban-based combat will emphasise vertical and horizontal combat amongst the dust and rubble of the city ruins.<\/p>\n
The damaged and destroyed structures and environments will provide unique cover and change the way players take on objectives.<\/p>\n
New modified military and civilian vehicles are \u201cspecially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy\u201d and will play a role in the action.<\/p>\n
In addition to four new maps, a whole new game mode, new assignments, achievements and dog tags are also coming along with Aftermath.<\/p>\n
Aftermath is the fourth of five Battlefield 3 add ons (Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, End Game).<\/p>\n
