{"id":42330,"date":"2012-08-02T14:12:57","date_gmt":"2012-08-02T12:12:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=42330"},"modified":"2012-08-02T14:18:53","modified_gmt":"2012-08-02T12:18:53","slug":"grand-theft-auto-v-viral-site-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/42330-grand-theft-auto-v-viral-site-launched","title":{"rendered":"Grand Theft Auto V viral site launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rockstar Games has launched the first viral marketing promo for Grand Theft Auto V with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epsilonprogram.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Epsilon Program<\/a>, an obvious spoof of the Scientology religion that has been referenced in previous games and apparently features in the next.<\/p>\n<p>The website lists the &#8220;12 Tenets of Kifflom&#8221;, including such enduring and incontrovertible wisdoms as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The world is 157 years old &#8211; <strong>FACT<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<li>Sperm does not exist &#8211; it is a lie spread by biology teachers &#8211; along with everything else you have ever been told &#8211; <strong>FACT<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<li>Aliens exist and are present on earth. Ron Hubbard, and the cult&#8217;s primary base of operations today, although this one time I totally saw a bunch of them at Kenilworth Centre.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, though, we&#8217;d probably do well to remember that &#8211; as Kifflom teaches us &#8211; everyone is related to everyone else, except for people with red hair. I have red hair, but the colour comes out of a box, so I&#8217;m not sure if that counts.
