Telkom will upgrade its 1Mbps ADSL users to 2Mbps from the 24th of August 2012, and will increase the speed of 384kbps ADSL subscribers to 1Mbps from 1 October 2012.<\/p>\n

Current uncapped ADSL subscribers will have to upgrade their uncapped accounts if they want to experience the higher speeds, and these upgrades come at a cost.<\/p>\n

Many Internet service providers (ISPs) have already unveiled their new 1Mbps and 2Mbps uncapped ADSL pricing, which means that users can tell what they will pay after the upgrades.<\/p>\n

Telkom\u2019s new prices also kicked in on 1 August 2012, which means that consumers now have to pay a bit more for their ADSL access and analogue line rental.<\/p>\n

The following table provides an overview of the new 1Mbps and 2Mbps ADSL pricing.<\/p>\n
