{"id":42454,"date":"2012-08-06T13:53:27","date_gmt":"2012-08-06T11:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=42454"},"modified":"2012-08-06T13:55:38","modified_gmt":"2012-08-06T11:55:38","slug":"battleblock-theater-the-next-indie-hit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/42454-battleblock-theater-the-next-indie-hit","title":{"rendered":"BattleBlock Theater &#8211; the next indie hit?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After three years of not talking about it, Behemoth has finally decided to drop an info-bomb about BattleBlock Theater, its upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade platformer game.<\/p>\n<p>According to a post over on Behemoth&#8217;s blog, the game features more than 200 characters, including &#8211; but not limited to &#8211; a duck, and some sort of&#8230; flying&#8230; raccoon&#8230; with antlers. Other stuff on the list includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 + levels to navigate and conquer;<\/li>\n<li>10 + unique weapontools;<\/li>\n<li>Variety of interactive block types;<\/li>\n<li>Online Multiplayer Campaign\/Arena modes;<\/li>\n<li>30 Achievements;<\/li>\n<li>Avatar Awards;<\/li>\n<li>Soundtrack created by well known artists, and members of our community!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What the game doesn&#8217;t have yet though, is a launch date &#8211; which is probably the one thing everybody really wants to know, but the dev promises &#8220;some things we have to leave out for now, that we\u2019ll be able to announce later in the year&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><em>Intriguing<\/em>.
