{"id":4263,"date":"2009-08-12T12:40:00","date_gmt":"2009-08-12T10:40:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"razer-will-make-starcraft-ii-peripherals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/hardware\/4263-razer-will-make-starcraft-ii-peripherals","title":{"rendered":"Razer will make StarCraft II peripherals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blizzard has made a deal with highly respected gaming peripheral maker, Razer, to make &ldquo;tournament-grade accessories&rdquo; for the massively hyped RTS.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturer is expected to produce a wide range of StarCraft II branded keyboards, headsets and gaming mice. Blizzard has previously worked with top grade peripheral maker Steel Series, and the decision to use Razer therefore came as a bit of a surprise to some.<\/p>\n<p>Inside sources at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fudzilla.com\/content\/view\/15021\/1\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fudzilla<\/a> told the publication that Blizzard went with Razer due to its higher brand profile and wider reach.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mygaming.co.za\/news\/PC\/4235-Starcraft-pushed-back-2010.html\" target=\"_self\">StarCraft II was recently pushed back<\/a> from its original late 2009 release time frame to an early 2010 release. The delay was credited to the new Battle.net taking longer than expected to complete.
