DICE have announced that Battlefield 3 servers on all three major platforms will be down for maintenance today (21 August 2012).<\/p>\n

On their official Facebook Page, DICE wrote, “we will be performing extensive maintenance between 7AM-1PM GMT on August 21 (that\u2019s 2AM-8AM EST). Battlefield 3 online play will be unavailable during these hours.”<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no word on what exactly the maintenance is for, although it could be related to the new Armored Kill DLC scheduled for September.<\/p>\n
