Activision has recently announced that Kurt Cobain will be playable in Guitar Hero 5, which launches tomorrow in the US.<\/p>\n
The late grunge rock icon joins a cast which includes the likes of Johnny Cash, Carlos Santanna, Shirley Manson from Garbage, Adam Levine from Maroon 5 and Mathew Bellamy of Muse fame.<\/p>\n
Cobain will perform ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ as well as a live version of ‘Lithium’, both singles from the bands eponymous debut – Nevermind.<\/p>\n
Guitar Hero 5 will feature 85 songs which range from a number of genres.<\/p>\n

All downloadable content from Guitar Hero: World Tour will be forward compatible with Guitar Hero 5.
