MyBroadband conducted its latest broadband survey recently (August 2012), revealing that Afrihost, Web Africa, Axxess, Openweb, and MWEB are the top Internet Service Providers (ISP) in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Consumers were asked to rate various components of their ADSL ISP’s service, including its value for money, billing, support, and overall satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The survey was completed by 16,432 people, of whom the majority were ADSL subscribers.<\/p>\n

Three ISPs \u2013 Afrihost, Web Africa, and Axxess \u2013 received average scores over 8 out of 10. All the other prominent ISPs, excluding Telkom Internet, received average scores between 7 and 8 out of 10.<\/p>\n

These high average ratings give a clear indication that users are happy with their ISPs, which may well be due to a very competitive environment.<\/p>\n

The following table provides an overview of the ratings received by the various ISPs in the latest broadband survey.<\/p>\n
