<\/em><\/strong>Rumours about a big-screen adaptation of a Metal Gear Solid movie has been in Hollywood chit-chat for years, but it has finally been confirmed that Snake will make his silver-screen appearance.<\/p>\n

The movie will come courtesy of Kojima Productions and Columbia Pictures, with Avi Arad (X-Men, Spiderman) on-board to produce the film.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made during Kojima\u2019s Metal Gear 25th Anniversary presentation.<\/p>\n

“For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters – and video games are the comics of today,” Arad said, as reported by John Ricciardi of 8-4 Ltd., a video game localization company based in Japan.<\/p>\n

“We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed,” Arad added.<\/p>\n

So, we now know that Metal Gear Solid is confirmed to be coming to cinemas in the future – are you worried or excited for Snake’s big-screen debut?<\/p>\n
