God of War: Ascension will mark the return of Kratos (although in prequel form) and the upcoming disemboweling-sim has been given an official release date.<\/p>\n

God of War: Ascension will arrive on 15 March 2013 in the UK, and we suspect that SA gamers will receive Sony Santa Monica\u2019s next adventure on the same date.<\/p>\n

Sony also revealed the special version on offer; the Collector’s Edition includes a steelbook case, eight-inch Kratos figure, digital copy of the soundtrack, a PS3 theme and avatars, a double multiplayer XP boost, and a voucher for all future DLC.<\/p>\n

The Special Edition includes everything listed above except for the statuette and the DLC pass.<\/p>\n
